Appointments at Altiplano Metals, Generation Mining, and Jaguar Mining

The new CEO of Altiplano Metals in Edmonton is Alastair McIntyre. He will lead the company’s efforts in Chile.  McIntyre holds a BSc in geology and a BComm in economics from Dalhousie University. Former CEO John Williamson will retain his role as chairman.

Toronto-based Generation Mining has strengthened its team with the appointment of John McBride as senior exploration geologists and Tabatha R. LeBlanc as manager of sustainability.

Jaguar Mining of Toronto has named Vernon Baker as CEO.  Interim CEO Ben Guenther is stepping down but will remain on the board. Most recently Baker was general manager at Goldcorp’s Cerro Negro mine in Argentina.
