Metso supplies automation to Rautaruukki’s Raahe plant in Finland

Metso has signed an agreement with Rautaruukki to supply extensive automation systems to its Raahe steel plant. As agreed with the customer, the value of the order will not be disclosed. The order are included in Metso Automation’s Q4 orders received. The automation in the plant’s Blast furnace 1 and conveyor systems will be replaced with Metso’s automation systems in summer 2010….more at Metso.com
