Skills shortage warning

The Australian mining industry has been warned that growth is at risk if its leaders fail to address long-term workforce development and training. The call came from the recently appointed chief executive officer of SkillsDMC, Steve McDonald, who called on resources employers to take a “proactive stance against the looming skills crisis”.
